The primary focus of this research initiative is to advance mobile communication networks by significantly reducing the average service creation cycle from 90 hours to 90 minutes. This targeted efficiency gain will contribute to the construction of a secure, reliable, and dependable Internet. Crucially, this project aims to facilitate dense wireless deployments that can connect over 7 trillion devices, serving over 7 billion people. By doing so, it ensures that every individual and location has access to a broader panel of services and applications at a lower cost. These efforts are driven by the goal of advancing technology synergies through new alliances and shared principles. This vision aligns with the emerging technologies of AI integration and the future of next-gen networks. Leading researchers and alliances are working hard to end the slow pace of research and pre-standardization by adopting shared principles for 6G. This initiative also emphasizes a sustainable design approach. It includes the declaration from Telco EIM and 6G-IA regarding the future of AI integration within new networks. Furthermore, new alliances are endorsing principles such as Secure, Open, Resilient, and Inclusive. By promoting sustainable design, the goal is to provide these benefits for everyone and everywhere at a low cost. The project also marks the registration of new alliances and serves as a platform for industry engagement. This includes new initiatives from India's Bharat 6G Alliance and the 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association. These efforts are supported by a call for papers held by TSDSI. They are also associated with 51st WWRF Meeting, which extended the registration deadline to 18-20 June 2024. Finally, the initiative calls for hardware enablers that integrate emerging technologies in Extended Reality (XR).
