This new Mix Analyzer website addresses a common critical flaw in digital audio production: the discrepancy between a mix that sounds perfect in a professional studio and a mix that sounds terrible in a live venue or streaming platform. While our metering plugin is still undergoing development, we have built a functional browser tool that allows listeners to instantly validate their recordings against a reference mix. This free application enables users to detect if their current tracks are undersampled due to poor sampling rates, distorted by excessive quantization, or distorted by incorrect dynamic range settings. By visualizing these invisible technical factors, the tool helps artists fix their problems before they are introduced to the real world. Many musicians have reported that a track uploaded to Spotify later appears drastically quieter than expected, often just because the sample clock is running too slowly or the signal was stretched to a level that hides the details.
