This recent work utilizes gender and politics lenses to analyze pressing contemporary challenges to democracy, specifically focusing on backlash against equality policies, declining trust in political institutions, and demographic shifts. The study reveals the critical role gender plays in transforming political landscapes through these structural changes, highlighting how traditional gender roles and expectations drive these complex modern transitions.
