Our team dedicated significant efforts to investigate the extensive ecological footprint of the digital sector, focusing on its production, usage, and waste disposal chains across the global economy. We also explored the project's implications on energy transitions and how extractivism impacts human ecosystems. The core study was led by Aurélien Tabard, I, Sophie Blitman, as our journalist editor, while the Communication team of Inria handled the remaining logistical and communication tasks for Magda Guennadi, Julia Plaia, Antoine Cappelle, and Anas Kolumban.
