Summary

Major collective work was published by Mauges Community, supported by dici publishing, to make the knowledge of the Mauges and their territories more concrete and engaging. The fifth volume, *The Underside of the Maps*, highlights the evolution of landscapes and historical influence from 1895 to 2045, illustrated with drawings and diagrams. This work is inspired by historical study to illustrate local life and the actions of the CPIE Loire-Anjou. The work is designed to serve as the basis for a participatory approach in favor of the 2026 horizon, aiming to dedicate to History and daily life a concrete action which allows us to better understand and revitalize the heritage of Anjou and its Loire. These efforts rely on the influence of local authors, including Dominique Drouet and Olivier Gabory, who contribute to the knowledge of the history, culinary recipes of Châlons and shoes. Thanks to these publications, the community proposes to go beyond past data to act on action projects and raise awareness of ecological and social issues.
