- Summary
- Professionally, I am an Associate Professor in the Linguistics department at the University of Washington, where my work sits at the intersection of computational linguistics, natural language processing, and cognitive science. I am deeply involved in advancing theoretical frameworks in natural language understanding, often bridging gaps between syntax, semantics, and psychological processing.
A major pillar of this research includes the ULTK library, which I redevelop using PyTorch to facilitate efficient training and analysis of neural networks for language modeling and transformation tasks. I actively support the ULTK community through peer reviews and code contributions aimed at improving model accuracy in real-world linguistic scenarios.
In June 2025, I proudly hosted the North American Summer School for Logic, Language and Information as part of NASSLLI 2025, where I shared insights on integrating advanced logical reasoning techniques with modern natural language processing challenges. This event reinforced my commitment to expanding pedagogical resources and fostering collaborative scientific discourse within these specialized fields. - Title
