To qualify as a small wind energy property, a small wind turbine must meet one of the following performance and quality standards at the time of acquisition: AWEA standards (9.1), IEC standards (614001, 614002, 6140011, 6140012), or ANSI/ACP Small Wind Turbine Standard 1011.
